35th FIMS World Congress - Prof. Pigozzi confirmed as President and President Casasco as member of the Board

During the 35th FIMS World Congress of Sports Medicine, held in Rio de Janeiro from 12th to 15th september 2018, Prof. Fabio Pigozzi has been confirmed for the third time as President of the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). In the same occasion President Casasco has been confirmed as well as Chairman for the “Development Commission” and member of the Executive Board.

Prof. Pigozzi expressed words of appreciation towards President Casasco: "I want to make a special mention for the President of the Italian Federation of Sports Medicine (FMSI), Prof. Maurizio Casasco. Not only we are bonded by a great friendship, but we also share a common vision for the promotion and enhancement of Sports Medicine in all the Olympic fields".
